Golden Hour Suite is a single-story desert retreat designed around a single obsession: the hour when the Coachella Valley turns amber.

The bedroom wing occupies the entire south face of the property, its glazing angled precisely to capture the last warm light of the afternoon while shielding occupants from the midday desert sun. External fins of powder-coated aluminum cast long shadows across polished concrete floors inside, shifting slowly as the day progresses — a sundial made habitable.

The pool deck extends the interior outward, its infinity edge dissolving at the same elevation as the distant Santa Rosa Mountains. The material palette is deliberately spare: travertine, linen, pale oak, and the warm tones of the desert itself.
